It’s been a long time since I have blogged.

We charge no travel fees-throughout the state of Wisconsin, because we just don’t believe in them. We believe that each couple is very different. And should be treated as such. We believe that when your special day comes we should know your wants and needs by your requests, that we should be able to stay out of your hair, unless absolutely necessary.

We won the “2018 best wedding photographer of the city of Appleton”, and believe our Videography is just as good, Tony is extremely talented in this area and makes magic happen when he is behind your footage and has your lists of wants in front of him. He is a teacher of both photography and videography.

We are a Family business, in business for 10 years, and a couple married and together for over 20 years, so many times we can read each other’s minds when we are working together. One doing photography and one doing videography. And we take a lot of pride in the work we do, and have done.

So, our code is this:

Sarah Cooper & Lance Reisen 10/20/18

Our longest shot to dated. 12 hours. Was at the Best Western Waterfront Hotel in Oshkosh, Wi. What an amazing place.

The Wedding planner was Johanna Wittmann, from Witt & Co Events. She was amazing!! Both amazing for us, and other vendors, but to the Sarah and Lance too.

I’m Sorry I can not remember the photographers.

The Dj was YODJ, Also amazing. He did amazing things beyond expectations of us and Sarah and Lance, along with the father/daughter & Mother/son dance. with speeches put into their songs. Such a special touch, and heartfelt thing to do for the Bride and Groom. An amazing DJ that kept people dancing all night long.

The Bride and Groom, were and amazing couple, along with the entire bridal party. The groomsmen played a card game in Ground Round(within the hotel) early in the day while I watched and tried to figure it out, while the ladies were at the Salon getting their hair done.

Once the Ladies showed up, I finally met Sarah and her mother Kim (who hired us) an amazing family, you could feel the love between them. Sarah was a blushing bride. Beautiful in all aspects of the word.

I was super touched by their vows to each other and teared up when hearing them spoken to each other. They were personal, they were spoken with love, they were unique to themselves and just all around touching.

Kim Cooper- I want to extend my graciousness for you hiring us. I think we were a very good match for your daughters day. We thank you for working so closely with Sarah to get what was needed before hand so that yesterday could flow as well as it could. God bless you and your entire family.

Sarah & Lance May you have many years of happiness, never go to bed angry. Say “I love you” as many times as you can. Don’t forget the date nights!! May you remember you ARE each others confidants & best friends. May the Lord be with you from now through infinity.

2018 City of Appleton, Wi Wedding Photographer of the year!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

We got the following email 10/10/18. It brought me to tears, and Tony to a complete HIGH!!!! Thank you to our past customers, we could not have done it without you!!!

Subject: Notification

Message: It is our pleasure to inform you that Hagen Pictures Production has been selected for the 2018 Best of Appleton.

I don’t think anyone really knows what this means to us. It means validation. It means accreditation. It means people believe in us. It means that when a new bride walks up to our booth at a wedding show, she knows we’re not a joke. It means that our family values we bring from home to our business is being noticed. It means that our christian values we have at home and bring to our business is being noticed. It means that when we send out those questionnaires to our brides and we personally get to know them, it’s working, and being noticed, and the way we are currently running things is working and all things are being noticed. This makes me proud. This makes Tony proud. It makes our family proud of us. (as I sit here and cry from just pure joy and happiness!)

So to the those that read this, or know of this, or have been one of our brides, or customers, thank you so much for such a huge award. This is a huge honor!

Brandi & Chris Lesik Wedding in Lake Geneva

Videographed Brandi & Chris Lesik Wedding in Lake Geneva Saturday. Its was a stunning venue, Brandi made a BEAUTIFUL bride, the colors picked for the bridesmaids were a pretty blue. Flowers were done by Brandi, and amazing beautiful. She did most of the centerpieces, ceremony signs and isle decor is just was so amazing that she did all this while going to school Full-time and working 2 part time jobs. Chris is the most gentle hearted supported man I have heard in a long time. He holds the house down while working Full time and raising their 8 kids. This couple glowed. This couple's love was VERY noticeable by how they support each other. It reminded me how lucky I am with Tony and how he supports my endeavors. This was the first wedding we met another unique pairing of Photographers. Father & daughter. They were amazing. Even though we arrived home at 2am... I would do it all over again. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Lesik for allowing us to capture your special day and including us like family!!

Our Favorite Real Wedding Vows And How To Write Your Own

et’s rewind to the moment I wrote my wedding vows, or as I like to call it, “Two in the morning, the day before I got married.” I had just gotten into a huge fight with my mom over something stupid like earrings that wasn’t really about earrings at all. (Weddings, man, they make you do crazy things.) I was exhausted, emotionally wrecked, and in no place to write the most important promise I might ever make to someone. But, since I had procrastinated on the task, there I sat, holed up in my little brother’s bedroom, crying into football sheets and racking my brain for inspiration. Chalk it up to the tears (or midnight inspiration), but the marriage vows I wrote brought down the house and made more than a few grown men cry. I remember being more proud of that than any other part of the wedding. Forget the good food, the venue, the dress. If we’d made people understand why they were there in the first place, then I felt like we did our job well.

GETTING STARTED ON YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY

Most of wedding media focuses on the pretty details, and the things you can spend piles of money on. But the actual wedding isn’t the first dance, or the cute photobooth, or even the emotional first dance. The wedding itself is the ceremony, and the ceremony is the part that is often forgotten till the very last minute. But a great wedding service? Well aside from the fact that it’s free, it also sets the tone for everything else that follows on the day. If your wedding ceremony is an honest reflection of your feelings for each other, everyone will be so high on happiness, that they’ll fail to notice if you even bothered with centerpieces at all. In short, a great ceremony is the ultimate wedding hack.

Whether you’re writing a wedding ceremony months in advance or at the very last minute, these resources will help you create something that makes you feel at home. They’ll help you make a religious service your own, build a wedding service from scratch, write your vows, find traditional vows that are right for you, or just pick readings. Because when you look back, it turns out that what you said when you promised to build a life together often matters more than the color of the bridesmaid dresses.
